The 1938 Lincoln Panel Brougham was built by Willoughby of Utica, New York.  This Lincoln featured split and steeply raked front windshield.  It also featured an open driver’s compartment upholstered in fine grain black leather, roll up windows and a collapsible top stored under the front seat.  The rear compartment featured folding opera seats, an inter-compartment telephone, and smoking and vanity sets.  The rear windows opened both vertically and horizontally for ventilation.

This Lincoln restored by Larry Summers was the poster car for the Formal Car Experience at the CCCA museum and was exhibited at Pebble Beach in 1996 – the year of the Lincoln.  It won the Most Elegant Car Award at Meadowbrook.
