1928 Ford Model A
We have done some small work before for this client, but this is his main project.
A 1928 Ford in desperate need of some tender love and care.
The vehicle came into us not running, with quite a bit of rust damage, no real interior to speak of and rolling on rims.
Our job from here is to tear the vehicle down, media blast the vehicle, repair all rust and paint. After that the plan is to restore the interior and get the vehicle running.
Take a look below at what we are starting with.
Want the story behind this one? Very cool. Client’s grandparents were restaurant owners way back when in East St. Louis when you couldn’t get credit for business there. The common method was allowing a tough guy to put a juke box in your place. He handled your cash needs, and the take from the juke box.
This Model A belonged to the gentleman who financed operations for the client’s family back then. When he no longer needed the car, the family ended up with it. Many years of outdoor storage, some years of indoor, and here we go!
Customer is singed up for the whole project, so keep checking in to see our weekly updates on the progress.
